The much-talked-about student-council romantic comedy from Weekly Shonen Magazine is finally getting an anime adaptation. DVD Vol. 6 is coming. "Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!" is a hugely popular work by Muchimaro that won first place in the Comics Division of the Next Manga Awards 2023 and has surpassed a cumulative circulation of 2.7 million copies. Ume Mizunoe, a first-year student in the high school division of the private Fujinari Academy, excels in Japanese but is disastrously bad at science subjects, to the point that they could affect his promotion to the next grade. He joins the student council to improve his school record, but an eventful daily life awaits him there alongside a charismatically lewd student council president, a frightening yet kind and refined treasurer, a cheeky and cute boy, a tiny abandoned-kitten-like general affairs officer, and other unusual students. The staff includes director Naoyuki Tatsuwa ("Ohmuro-ke: Dear Sisters" / "Ohmuro-ke: Dear Friends"), character designer Ryo Imamura ("ONIMAI: I'm Now Your Sister!"), and series composer and scriptwriter Masahiro Yokotani ("Too Many Losing Heroines!"). The cutest "student council" is right here. [Contents] one main disc and one bonus CD. Episodes 11 to 12 (two episodes), with both the TV broadcast version and the uncensored version included. [Bonuses] an LP-size jacket featuring newly drawn artwork by original creator Muchimaro, an LP-size booklet, bonus footage including the TV-broadcast censored version of the main feature, and a bonus CD featuring the original soundtrack Vol. 2. *Packaging details and bonuses are subject to change.
