Wakui, who has worked mainly on instrumental pieces, showcased full-fledged singing for the first time on the single "Stepsss feat.Pecori," greatly expanding her range of expression. On this work, she handles not only the vocals but also the lyrics, composition, and track-making for every song, stepping into a comprehensive musical expression that includes her "voice." The tracks include "Stepsss (feat.Pecori)," reconstructed into a mid-tempo number with a mellow and cool texture featuring rapper Pecori; the lead track "Yurei ni Nattemo Utsukushii," with a danceable beat, a melody with a strong hook, and impressive lyrics that leave a deep afterglow; and "cinema," written as the theme song for the animation "Kuroi Shokki no Maho," the grand-prize work of the 2025 "Unforgettable Nursing Episodes - Professionals Who Protect and Support Life," among a varied group of songs. For the sound, engineer Taku Someno, who has worked with many artists such as CHARA and WONK, handled the mixing. A sound image combining delicacy and depth precisely supports Wakui's new vocal expression and musical world. Furthermore, mastering was handled by David Hachour at ColorSound Studio Mastering in France, drawing out the warmth and dynamics of the songs to the fullest.
