DVD release of the film "Yama Zakura" based on classic novel written by Shuhei Fujisawa. In small northern area of Unasaka Han, widdow Noe marries again to a certain Mr. Isomura, but cannot get used to the ways of his family. One day, on the way back home from her aunt's grave, Noe meets a samurai under a wild cherry tree . . . a samurai and former suitor.
