Inspired on the novels "Hana no Ran"and "Ai no Kakehashi" by Michiko Nagahata, the film focuses on poet Akiko Yosano from Taisho period (1912-1925). Directed by Kinji Fukasaku ("Battle Royale"), the late great master of Yakuza action films.
