Celebrating the 50th anniversary of their debut, THE ALFEE has continued to make a lasting impact not only on the music scene but on the entertainment world as a whole. This Blu-ray presents a 4K remastered edition of the large-scale outdoor concert they held in 1986 at the area then known as Tokyo Bay No. 13 Reclaimed Land (now the Odaiba district). Held on August 3, 1986, the event drew 92,500 attendees and was described at the time as Japan's first solo concert to attract 100,000 people. In an era when large-scale outdoor music festivals were not yet common, it had a tremendous influence on the concert business itself and is now widely recognized as a legendary performance in Japanese concert history. A highlight is the dramatic performance by the three young members as they move freely across a gigantic stage measuring 120 meters wide and 75 meters high. The emotional encore singalong of "ROCKDOM - Kaze ni Fukarete -" still resonates today. This unprecedented concert from 40 years ago has been restored in high-definition with as much image repair as possible through the technical cooperation of NHK and Coupe. A valuable historical live performance that can now be relived through video.
