The original 4-channel mix master sound source of SQ4 (4-channel "quadraphonic"), the latest technology at the time of its release, was mastered in DSD for the first time in the world at Sony Music Studio in Japan, and is now available on a hybrid disc that can play both SA-CD 2ch and CD. The CD layer is the latest 2022 remastered version of the SA-CD 2-channel master, converted directly to PCM.
