When the original comic by Masami Kurumada was published in 'Shonen Jump Magazine,' it became very popular. This is the DVD edition of the anime based on it. The original video was released in 1992. The opening and closing themes with lyrics penned by Masami Kurumada is used only for the last episode contained in this DVD.
