Kaho and Ryoma Takeuchi co-star in a romantic comedy about the renewal of a man and a woman beginning from a breakup. The drama adaptation of the major hit manga "Then You Try Making It (Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miroyo)," created by the winner of the New Creator Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize with total circulation exceeding 400,000 copies, is released as a DVD BOX. Katsuo Ebihara (Ryoma Takeuchi), a businessman working in central Tokyo, holds the old-fashioned belief that "a woman's happiness is cooking at home and waiting for the person she loves to return." His favorite dish is Chikuzenni cooked by his live-in girlfriend Ayumi Yamagishi (Kaho). While eating Ayumi's carefully prepared home cooking every day, he offers comments as "advice," such as saying that the side dishes might be too brown, and Ayumi accepts them, and the two share ordinary meals together. One day, Katsuo carefully prepares and carries out a perfect proposal to Ayumi, but she simply replies "No, I can't," and rejects him. Although he believes he is perfect in both work and appearance and that he has been getting along well with Ayumi, he wonders why he is rejected. Even while feeling depressed, Katsuo goes to a group date in search of a new relationship, but the more he talks, the more he feels the women who seemed to view him favorably begin to distance themselves. Wondering whether the world changed while he was dating Ayumi, he tries cooking Chikuzenni that Ayumi always made for him, following a suggestion from a junior colleague at work. He then realizes that cooking, which he thought he could easily do himself, is actually a very difficult and time-consuming task. Meanwhile, after the breakup, Ayumi appears in a suspicious place with unfamiliar companions. Ayumi, a woman who loses herself because she prioritizes her lover, and Katsuo, a perfect man left behind by changing times. What happens to the love story that begins with the breakup of these two people? All 10 episodes are included. A six-disc set (five main discs + one bonus disc).
