The TV anime series was broadcast in 1982 and stood at the center of the second magical girl boom of the 1980s. OVAs and a second TV series were produced afterward as well. This November it was also announced that an all-new OVA, the first in 32 years, has been set for a theatrical screening, and this popular title is drawing attention once again. This is a song collection album of the first Minky Momo, made up mainly of songs from the TV series and from the OVA "La Ronde in my Dream".
