This show marks the directorial debut of Yutaka Izubuchi, known as the mecha designer for "Patlabor" among other things. His collaborators include the likes of Akihiro Yamada and Michiaki Sato, and the series was produced by Bones of "Cowboy Bebop." Music by Ichiko Hashimoto, with the theme song penned by Yoko Kanno, which is performed by Maaya Sakamoto who also plays the voice of the show's heroine.
