Brief Introduction

"In This Corner of the World," "Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni" in Japanese, is a theatrical anime feature depicting lives of ordinary people living in Kure, Hiroshima during World War II. Its story is based on the manga series of the same title written by Fumiyo Kono. Directed by Sunao Katabuchi famous for "Princess Arete," "Mai Mai Miracle," and "Black Lagoon" series.
