Description

[Machine Translation] This is the second feature film by Leos Carax, who has made his name known around the world with his fast-moving visual sense. --In Paris, STBO, a strange disease transmitted through loveless sex, is spreading. レオス・カラックスが疾走感あふれる映像センスでその名を世界に知らしめた長編第2作。――愛の無いセックスで感染する奇病STBOが蔓延するパリ。幼少の頃から虚無感や孤独感に生きてきた青年アレックスは、恋人リーズと居る時でも虚しさを抱えていた。原因不明の腹痛にも襲われ生活に嫌気がさしたアレックスは、人生を変える出来事を待ち望んでいた。そんな矢先、行方知れずの父親が電車に轢かれ死んでしまう。父親の友人マルクは多大なる借金を背負うこととなり、STBOの血清を盗み密売する作戦を考え出す。そしてその作戦にアレックスを巻き込もうとする。アレックスは作戦に乗るが、そこでマルクの恋人であるアンナにかつてない運命を感じ、物語は動き始める・・・。
