Salasa's 2nd album, in which she stepped into new expression by taking elements of pop, rock, and folk into a groovy sound. The LP analog edition of "Golden Child," released in 2024, gets its long-awaited second pressing as a limited release in a clear lime yellow vinyl format. While centered on the groove so characteristic of Salasa, based on soul and R&B, it contains songs with many different expressions, such as "Blessing," which takes in elements of pop and rock, "Tooku Made," which calls to mind a Showa-era folk song, and "Yokan," with its pleasant, floating melody. A wide range of producers and musicians take part, such as Kota Matsukawa, Shuta Nishida, and uin. It reflects the unaffected mind of Salasa, who sublimates free ideas, a unique viewpoint, and even negative emotions into positive music. Broadening the range of her expression further from the 1st album, this is a record that marks the point she had reached, leading on to her later major debut. This popular work, which sold out in pre-orders at the time of the first pressing, comes back to life on analog record once again as a clear lime yellow vinyl.
