As always, compared to the CD-only version the concent of the CD is exactly the same. But the different cover is enough reason for me to buy both versions. Aside from the already known music videos for the previously released singles, the DVD edition contains the clips for '(Don't) Leave me alone' and 'Marionette' as well as the short film 'Kyo Ai -Distance Love-' (released with the single 'glitter/fated').
GUILTY [CD+DVD / Jacket A] Customer Reviews
Ayumi Hamasaki
I actually enjoy listening to GUILTY. I personnaly think it is one of her best album, along with "I am". The songs are all very nice, never boring, and she does great vocal performance in the show. I like Marionnette quite a lot. Together when is just wonderful I love how her voice gets high. This is a romantic album, so if you prefer the Electronic Ayu, watch out for Next Level, or I am, or one of her numerous remixes
My gosh! I felt guilty 'cause I didn't preorder so I didn't get the FPE with booklet, however, some FOE CD version were stocked up again and bought it twice. Hahaha, good but not ecellent, lots of interludes...But PV's are excellent!
this is one of my personal favourites from her. all songs are exellent in my oppinion. and the PV's are awsome too. this should be in everyone's Ayu collection!!!!!!!!
Ayu's 9th studio album is great. I'm so into her rock songs and this one hit the right spot! But then there's the touching ballads and it becomes a great listening experience. The PVs are so well done, as usual. I loved the PV for Marionette.
Album wasn't bad at all. Though I do like some of her prior albums better, this album is still worth every listen. Unlike Secret this album mixes up the pop and rock tracks. I was kind of disappointed there were only 5-6 new album songs though (I'm not counting the 1-2 minute intro/interludes). Of those new album tracks, the one song that had an impact on me was obviously Untitled (For Her). I particularly loved (Don't) Leave Me Alone as well, but what I really wanted was a PV for Untitled and not (Don't) Leave Me Alone...it was quite boring and I'm sure they could have made a better PV for Untitled.
The best from A.Hamasaki, that is let out at present! Heavy, gloomy tone injects new life into role of the singer. Obeys on one breath. Remarkable DVD a disk with 5th clips on lethal hits. To all I recommend!
One of the best Ayu's albums, I think. Great combination of rock songs and ballads. Beautiful PVs, Kyo Ai ~Distance Love~ is one of the best music videos I've seen! Highly recommend =)
Guilty is THE ALBUM ! it tells a story. Is a really heavy album, you have to listen again once it comes to an end. If you are thinkig of buying it, then do it now. It's a very good album for a 9th anniversary ! then after this we`ll look forward for a new album of her 10th anniversary !!
This is a great album - Ayu never fails to disappoint. It's not her best album, but then I struggle to say which is her best album (owning all of them), but the lyrics never fail to impress and I can't wait to go to Asia Tour 2008 to see some of these live - am busy sorting tickets at the moment :-) Let's see what she releases for us this year!
A lovely album! The songs are very emotional and are arranged in a nice order, so the songs get never boring. There are beautiful pictures in the photobook and the PVs on the DVD are awesome.
Good compilation of new Hamasaki tunes and the DVD of music videos is a really nice extra. The cover art is OK while good, not as good as past efforts.
I'm never dissapointed when it comes to Ayu, this album it's just great, the songs are pretty good; I love specially talkin 2 myself and marionette, the dvd is just as great. So if you haven't bought this album yet, then do it alredy you won't regret it.
A great album from Ayu. Im not much for her rock songs on here but everything was done well. The music videos are fun to watch. The photos are very pretty. This is an album for any ayu fan
There is so much to say and so little space in which to write about Ayu's latest..... GUILTY.I am and always will be a fan of Ayumi Hamasaki.I have to admit, not since (miss)understood (which I listen to alot) has Ayu released anything quiet this good. She has a style all her own,a mix of jpop...a mix of rock.....ohh yeah,Ayu is that good.My favorite pick on this album is "fated".Keeping this in mind, the best advice to offer this review is to just emerse yourself in Ayumi's latest release.Oh and just a side note here,if soneone is willing to send me a ticket to a upcoming Ayu tour.....I would book a flight to Tokyo and be very greatful to you.=^.^=
I love this album. It's better than Secret. Talkin' 2 myself, Decision, Together when..., Marionette and untitled ~for her~ are a great songs. Guilty and (don't) leave me alone are very nice. The photobook is beautiful. An excellent album.
A very solid album from Ayumi. The photobook has some nice pictures. The DVD is wonderful! glitter/fated short movie made me cry. Ayumi is truly talented and this album should not disappoint her fans. Check it out!
Ayu comes through again w/ another solid rock/pop album! (don't) leave me alone & MY ALL are my fav new tracks and this album features singles glitter, talkin' 2 myself & Together when... A must have~
This album is very refreshing for me, I have listened to all the other works by Ayumi and this last album, for me, is the best until now. The songs fated and glitter are really great songs. But the last song of this album "Untitled -for her-" is very emotive, a wonderful surprise. Also "My All" has a catchy rythm and nice melody. "Guilty" has a rocky melody, and Ayu's voice is wonderful. It's true that there are several "intros" but that doesn't spoil Ayu's best album. My final opinion is that Ayu's voice is the best and Guilty is her best album and a must have for all Ayumi Hamasaki's fans out there.
This is the first album I've purchased by Ms. Hamasaki, and it is by far my favorite. The entire cd is beautiful ... the inside photo shoot, and the additional photo booklet is just a wonderful bonus. The best feature is her lyrics...strong, powerful songs. Marionette and Talkin 2 Myself are my favorite tracks.
