Bitter Sweets [CD+DVD] Customer Reviews

SweetS 10th single after the long awaited return of Aki and Aya brought much excitement among fans. The cover had brought much anticipation to fans as it was similar to SweetS 1st Single cover - Lolita Strawberry in Summer. Many fans had adored the Bounceback era and wished for SweetS to do songs that had the Bounceback beat in them. However, Bitter Sweets in my opinion, was different from what I expected. Its a fun jazzy beat with a nice mid-tempo. The PV did not have SweetS dancing either, when dancing was obviously one of SweetS greatest strengths. With the return of Aki and Aya, fans had hoped for a brighter future for SweetS. But we were brought aback with shockness when a few days after, SweetS announced their "graduation" (basically break up) with their first event for Bitter Sweets at LaQua. Bitter it is indeed.

Bitter Sweets is a great song! If you like SweetS, it will not disappoint. The video definitely isn't as high-budget as earlier SweetS music videos, but I still like it. Sadly, this is SweetS second to last release, as they are disbanding in June.

another great single release from the girls of SweetS. the group of 5 girls is back together again. and at last the full version of pieces of peace which is release also included in this single. which rox by the way. SweetS forever

Yup! You heard it right. All the five girls are back together again. Aki and Aya is back!!! Standard music style, nice subtle PV. Plus 1 for you.;)

I bought this CD without even hearing the songs, knowing that I would like it. This group never releases a bad single. The first time I listened to it, I immediately liked it. With new music, I usually have to listen to the song several times before I really enjoy it. The lyrics and up-beat music draw you in very easily. Both of the songs are really good, but I like Pieces of Peace a little more. The DVD includes the Bitter SweetS music Video and is cool. It is worth it to get the CD+DVD version. Any SweetS fan should not miss this release.
