Description

In the universe where the ratio of men to women is 1 to 9, Shaft full of bugs makes its move! This is a gigantic robot action anime done in 3D-CGI, broadcast on WOWOW satellite-cable television channel. It depicts the battle of the geneticly enhanced youngsters using a robot called 'Shaft' that caries a bug in its OS (operating system against a gigantic 'Ring' that materialized in the outer edges of the earth space. It's produced by a topnotch staff taht includes director Kazuki Akane of 'Escaflowne' fame, and composer Akira Takasaki from the rock band Loudness. Special features include a booklet and bonus footage(s). Initial pressing special feature: a Shaft Crew ID card (illustrated, trading card size).
