Pastel Yumi, the Magic Idol 40th Anniversary Blu-ray BOX [Limited Release]

The fourth title in the Pierrot magical girl series, which stands apart from the previous three as a non-transforming magical girl story, is released on Blu-ray for the first time. Yumi Hanazono is a ten-year-old girl who loves flowers and drawing and dreams of becoming a manga artist. As the only child of Flower Town, she one day receives a magical stick from the flower fairies Kakimaru and Keshimaru as a token of gratitude for cherishing flowers. Any picture drawn with the stick jumps out as a real object. Though Yumi excitedly waves the stick, its power comes with a time limit. Even so, obtaining this mysterious stick transforms her everyday life into wonderful moments filled with thrill and adventure. All 25 episodes of the TV series are included. The bonus disc includes non-credit opening and ending sequences, "Majokko Club Yonin Gumi: Alien X from A Space" (1987 OVA), and "Chapter True Love" (performed by Takako Ota) (music clip). A special booklet is enclosed. Comes in a Kurumi box & inner jacket featuring newly illustrated artwork by character designer Yoshiyuki Kishi.
