It's about time! The 2 Three Degrees LP's produced by Giorgio Moroder has finally been reissued on CD for the first time: 'New Dimensions' from 1978, and '3-D' from 1979. American fans may be slightly disappointed that this version of 'New Dimensions' is different: instead of "Givin' Up Givin' In" and "Looking For Love" mixed as a 2-song medley, and "Falling In Love Again" as a complete song on Side A, all 3 songs are together in a continuous mix (with "Falling In Love Again" being second, and "Looking For Love" being third). As for the reissue itself, the remastered sound is wonderful, and the packaging is a CD-sized mini gatefold LP (including a lyrics booklet in both English and Japanese). The front, back and gatefold artwork has been reproduced, and looks just like the original LP! Beings this is a limited edition reissue, I would suggest all fans of The Three Degrees to pick this one up before it's gone (and get the other Giorgio/Three Degrees LP '3-D' while you're at it!). Donna Summer fans too may find these 2 albums worth giving a listen, as some of her biggest and most well-known hits were produced by Giorgio.
