Christmas no Yakusoku 2008

"Christmas Promise 2008" was recorded in between "Meiji Yasuda Life Presents KAZUMASA ODA TOUR 2008 'Kyo mo Dokokade'," held for the first time in three years, and "Kitto Mata Itsuka, Kyo mo Dokokade FINAL," Oda's first-ever dome tour. For this reason, the program is built mainly around songs performed on the tour. In this installment, the origin of "Gotochi Kiko," a signature segment of Oda's concert tours, was also discussed. The program inserts a compilation of "Gotochi Kiko" between songs, making for content that lets you fully enjoy the charm unique to the tour. In addition, Yoshiyuki Sahashi and Takako Matsu appeared as guests together as a married couple for the first time. A precious scene in which Oda joins the two to perform and sing Takako Matsu's song "Oyasumi" is also included, making it one of the highlights of this work.

『クリスマスの約束2008』は、3年ぶりに開催された「明治安田生命Presents KAZUMASA ODA TOUR 2008 "今日も どこかで"」と、小田にとって初となるドームツアー『きっとまたいつか♪ 今日も どこかでFINAL♪』の合間を縫って収録された。そのため、番組はツアーで披露された楽曲を中心に構成されている。この回では、小田のコンサートツアー名物企画"ご当地紀行"が誕生した経緯についても語られた。番組ではご当地紀行の総集編が、楽曲の合間に挿入され、ツアーならではの魅力を存分に楽しめる内容となっている。さらに、佐橋佳幸と松たか子夫妻が夫婦として初めてゲスト出演。松たか子の楽曲「おやすみ」を小田を交えた3人で演奏・歌唱する貴重なシーンも収録されており、本作の見どころのひとつとなっている。
