「ウチの猫は、夜中に何してるんだろう?」2012年アカデミー賞ノミネートのフランス映画。世界初のアニメ・ノワール誕生。 ── パリのオス猫ディノが飼われているのは、女警視ジャンヌとその娘ゾエが暮らす家。ジャンヌの夫でゾエの父親は、ギャングのボスヴィクトル・コスタに殺されてしまい、そのトラウマからゾエは失語症になってしまった。夫の仇を討つ思いと、コスタが人生を賭けて狙う「ナイロビの巨像」の監視のため、コスタを追いかけるジャンヌは多忙だった。多発している宝石や美術品等を狙うカリスマ怪盗ニコを捕らえる任務も背負っているからだ。だからゾエは一日中淋しい思いをしている。そんなゾエを慰めることが出来るのが、飼い猫のディノ。ディノはトカゲを狩ってはスペシャルプレゼントとして、ゾエに持っていく忠実な友である。家事を手伝うクロディーヌは、よく働く家政婦だがなぜかディノとは相性が悪い。ある朝、ゾエはディノが戦利品としてゾエにプレゼントした、ダイヤモンドが埋め込まれた魚をデザインしたブレスレットを見て疑問を感じる。これをどこで手に入れたのか?と。その晩、彼女はお出かけするディノを追跡することにした・・・。
