This is the first single collection of Gackt to date. Includes themes like "Seki-ray", "Mizerable", "Oasis", "Lu:na", "Vanilla" and "Secret garden". Precious music!!!!!

This first best of compilation is an excellent place for casual or new fans of Gackt to start their collection. There is little point in purchasing his singles on their own unless you're a completist. The singles on this set vary in musical style, from pop to industrial metal to ballads. All are superb, and highlight the musical genius that Gackt clearly is. My favorite song of Gackt's is Decembers Love Song (not included in this set unfortunately), a gorgeous festive ballad about peace and love, and a song that should be heard at all costs. If you are considering buying music by Gackt, get this, buy 'Mervielles' by Gackt era Malice Mizer (an absolute classic album), and wait for his next singles collection. Sooner or later the whole world will know of Gackt.

I simply adore all tracks from this album. Especiaaly the new rock version of Mizerable... It was just amazing!!! *_______* The package is also good, and I liked the 2 booklets >3

Excellent singles songs = an excellent single collection cd! It's that simple! I have Gackt's singles and it's nice to have them all compiled on a cd like this! Gackt always produces songs that are always great to listen to! Strong song writing, vocal, & music composition skills makes Gackt a must have on the music cd shelves! I always enjoy listening to Gackt's works because it's unforgettable! Thank you very much!

Nothing more need to be said about this CD! All are hit songs! A "Must Have" CD for all Gackt's fans... even you are not a fan yet... eventually you will be one!

I don't own this CD, but I've borrowed it from my cousin. He bought it somewhere for over $51! I told him to be smart and buy it here! Anyway, it's a great CD. The quality is actually pretty good. A bit annoying that the sound isn't consistent, but the only imported CD I've ever had that WAS consistent was Trinity Blood TB_ Music File. As I said, it's a good CD. His voice is great, and numbers 1,6,9,11,14 are the best. Apparently, my cousin's copy came with a CONDOM in it. How funny. Check yours when you get it, LOL!

Gackt is one of those artists we just can't choose ONE favorite song, 'cause all of them are amazing, and this album is a collection of his BEST SONGS, therefore, it's awesome. Buy it and you'll fall in love.

This is one of the best albums I've ever purchases in my life! It's difficult to find an artist that would suit my taste in music, Gackt is one of the rare artists that i find EVERY ONE of his songs AMAZING and moving.

I am surprised that Gackt is so popular. Why haven't I heard of him sooner? I am just beginning to get into the JROCK movement, and I didn't have a clue what I was missing. This is something new and refreshing to my ears. Gackt also has a very nice voice. But I also like Miyavi, T.M. Revolution, and Kaggra. Definitely pick this up, you won't regret it!

This is a great compilaition, its great to learn the lyrics and sing along if you want. Great sleeping to music and just all around great music to listen to

This album is wonderful! Each of these songs were digitally remastered by Gackt, for a fresh feel. Songs like Mizerable and Secret Garden blow you away as you're ears pick up what they didn't before, and with stronger quality! Just awesome.

This is collection of songs by Gackt is great. If a first time listener is looking for something to get a feel for who Gackt really is, this is the CD for them. It has songs that extend over his career as a solo artist. Absolutely fantastic!

A nice compilation of Gackt's music through the years and without a doubt..i still love Mizerable the most...if u are in a mood to rock try this CD. Not advisable for slow music lovers...

As Gackt's first best of collection, 'The Sixth Day' is a sort of summing up of one the career (thusfar) of one of Japan's premiere musicians of all time. Containing songs from the albums 'Mizerable,''Mars,' 'Rebirth,' 'Moon,' and 'Crescent,' a wide selection of Gackt's pop/rock/occasionally classical style available for sampling. Unlike the verisions of the songs on those albums, however, 'The Sixth Day' features (slightly) remixed takes on the tracks, which use all new recordings and some additional minor alternations. Gackt and his band are in their usual top form throughout, with racing guitars and violins the norm, mixed with crystal clear and flawless vocals unlike anyone else. And the varried messages of the songs, ranging from love and lust to sadness, loss, and happiness, are brilliant conveyed through the lyrics. For someone who has not yet indulged in the Gackt Experience, this is a perfect first album to get a feel for him and his music. If you already have all the albums in question, you might find the purchase a bit redundant, but as a collection of wonderful tunes it is not to be passed up. A highly enjoyable album, it may just become your favorite before you know it.
