WEEKEND MILESTONE

[Machine Translation] The one and only EMO POP melodic PUNK band, COMEBACK MY DAUGHTERS, from Tokyo, is a three-piece group that is flexible, exquisite and has a bursting POP sense that sticks in your ears once you hear it! Formed in 1998, the band started out as a 4-piece group, and in 2000, they released their first 12" vinyl release on their own label, HIROTECH RECORDINGS, utilizing their overseas connections! The four songs on this four-track album attracted a lot of attention, and the band sold out almost all of the recordings by hand at live performances. (Incidentally, their friend and former COMPOUND RED member JON was in charge of the cover artwork. ) Before releasing this ep, the guitarist left and the band became a three-piece. They released a SPLIT TAPE with TWINKLE from TWINKLE's label, MAKE HER MINE, in the same year, and have performed with overseas bands such as NO KNIFE, SELBY TIGERS, HEY MERCEDES, ALL SCARS, and SENA NA NA, as well as their own projects. The band has been actively playing various live shows, and has been influenced by PROMISE RING, JCHURCH, TEXAS IS THE REASON, PEDRO THE LION, SUPER CHUNK, GET UP KIDS, MINERAL, JAWBREAKER, SNUFF, LEATHERFACE, and so on. As the members themselves cite these bands as influences, their greatest appeal and point is to let the audience listen to their songs and melodies, just like those bands. They are a Japanese band that can express fun and sadness as well as overseas bands!
