今回のLIFE LINEはNEW YORKで10年以上その名を轟かせるクラブ「SHELTER」のDJ TIMMY REGISFORDのLIVE MIX CDをリリースします。★感情をストレートに表し、かける曲がそのまま彼の歌声のように感じられて、その感情を神業的MIXでコントロールしダンサーにメッセージを送る。TIMMY REGISFORDのプレイを聴いたとき(彼のDJで踊ったとき)それを言葉で表現するなら、そんな感じだったかも知れない。もちろん受け手により感じることは十人十色。これだけでは無いのは当然ですが、そんな彼のプレイが人種を越え、言葉を越え、その夜のDJプレイで多くのクラウドを魅了していったのは間違いありません。長年に渡る彼のDJキャリアはそんな一夜の数えきれないぐらいの積み重ね ナ出来た結果の上にあるものです。このMIX CDはそんなキャリアの一部分(ほんの一粒)を凝縮したものです。現在NEW YORKで行われているSHELTERの中でのみ販売されていたLIVE MIX CDを完全オフィシャル化したシリーズ第1弾に当たります。SHELTERで作られる彼が織りなす物語のほんの一部ではありますが、そのライブ感は少なからず伝わることだと思います。もちろん彼のDJプレイを生で体感することがベストなのは誰もが知っていることですが、なかなか足を運べない人達にはぜひその厚いメッセージを感じ取ってもらいたいです。
