死に去る男たちの美学をハードバイオレンスタッチで描いた95年『GONIN』で、劇画作家の才能を生かした映画作りをし、エンターテインメント性も高く、雨と闇を効果的に味付けし多くのファンを獲得した石井隆。その才能を遺憾なく発揮したシリーズ第2弾!! 今回の主役となる5人は何と女性。それぞれが社会の水に馴染めず、個々の問題を抱え、厭世観に支配され生きている5人の女。たまたま居合わせた宝石店で、5人組の宝石強盗に出くわす。だが女たちは怯むどころか逆襲に転じ、拳銃を奪い取り、お互いの名前も知らぬまま、時価10億円の宝石を盗んで逃走してしまう。しかし、宝石強盗の背後には、暴力団の大きな影があった。そして、その暴力団の借金取立てでの暴行により妻を自殺に追い込まれ、復讐に燃える鉄工所の経営者が絡み、三つ巴の壮絶なバトルが始まる・・・。
