All I can say is that it sounds better than the newly remastered version. A must have for all classic rock lovers. Unfortunately, the disc is already out of print.
This 2006 TOM S. re-master , has been taken to the next level on BLU-SPEC CD. This nice thing about BLU-SPEC CDs [and Shm-Cds] is that they can be played any where , on any regular CD player. In your car , camping and on your IPOD , ect... and you still get the cleanest , clearest sound. As with their , DON'T LOOK BACK , Blu-Spec CD , this is the best sounding version ever. There will be no need to compare it to the older versions , as it is obvious upon your first listen that this is the way this album was meant to be heard. Stunningly clear / clean vocals , keyboards and all the guitars can be heard. More bass and drums also helps. This BLU-SPEC CD has the rock and roll POWER / clearity that was missing from the earlier versions. SONY , has a winner with Blu-Spec , just like UNIVERSAL does with , SHM-CDs. If SONY , was smart they would offer a lot more artists from their vast catalog in , BLU-SPEC. Some , PINK FLOYD and BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN , would be nice?
