I'm with the other guys! I had my doubts with the new and improved format possible being snake oil, but after hearing it, I relegated my old Diamond Life CD (terrific CD on its own) to the car. Looking for more titles to rotate to the car!

This Blu-spec CD edition brings this landmark release into the 21st century, rendering Epic's turn-of-the-century remastered CD a distant second-best. Compared side-by-side with the LP vinyl version (played back on a $48,000 analog system), the Blu-CD more than held its own, trading off a touch of sweetness and warmth for slightly tighter, deeper bass and extended, glare-free highs. Almost SACD-like, in fact, at least on my system. Until Sade comes out to play again (where is she, anyway?), this new 'Diamond' shines! Bravo!
This album by Sade was already a fantastic album in its standard format. The Blu-spec release added a superb new dimension to the sound. Exquisite! More rock and pop-rock releases, please!
