2004年7月に発売されたファーストアルバム『RIVERMOUTH REVUE』から1年9ヶ月ぶりのセカンドアルバムがいよいよ発売!! 前作がルーツ音楽に影響を受けつつ、70年代欧米のシンガーソングライターのような内省的な世界観をアコースティックギターを軸にしたグルーヴで昇華させた作品であったのに対して、ファーストアルバムリリース後の、初の東京・大阪でのワンマン、2005年に入り2枚のシングル(計7曲)と2回の全国ツアー等の活動によって得た、より直接的なロックアプローチ、より強力なグルーヴが、さらに艶を増した田村キョウコのヴォーカルと、砂田和俊のアコースティックギターから成る"サンタラの世界"を外に向けてより鮮明な色を醸し出しているのが、このセカンドアルバムと言える。特にアルバムタイトル曲「wait, catch & run」のアーシーで、グルーヴィなサウンドが現在進行形のサンタラの方向性を示唆し、今回のアルバムでもサウンドプロデューサー/アレンジャーとして新しい刺激をサンタラに与え続ける森俊之がキーボードで参加。3曲のシングル表題曲を含む、全12曲を収録。
