[Machine Translation] Migia, a female fado singer who was regarded as one of the successors to Amalia Rodriguez in the 1990s and released several albums on major labels in Japan, has returned to us for the first time in many years. 90年代、アマリア・ロドリゲスの後継者のひとりと目され日本でもメジャー・レーベルから作品が数枚リリースされた女性ファド歌手ミージアが、久しぶりにぼくらの元に戻ってきた。ファドの伝統を踏襲しつつも常に新しい要素を取り入れ、その進歩に貢献してきた彼女らしく、本作でもかなり意欲的な試みが随所に登場。本来ファドの伴奏を担当するポルトガル・ギターだけではなく、バス・クラリネットと歌の掛け合いや、ピアノ、バンドネオンが伴奏に加わったもの、さらに激しく歪んだエレキギターをフィーチャーした奇抜なアレンジなど、かなり攻撃的なサウンドもここで展開している。ゲストには男性タンゴ歌手ダニエル・メリンゴ、バルセロナの鬼才ギタリストのレフリー、今のファド・シーンを代表する男性歌手リカルド・リベイロといった才能たちが参加し、ミージアのプログレッシヴ・ファドに華を添えてくれた。
