Too Mean To Die

i am suprised i ended up buying this disc as after peter baltes left the band over 2 years ago i felt accept was just the wolf hoffman band at this point, regardless i decided to take the plunge as they say and this new disc has all the elements of what accept has sounded like and stood for the past 42 years now, there where the only two accept discs back in 1994 & 1996 that where very modern ( as per then) and eat the eat way back in 1989 was probably there worst album ever( next to predator in 1996), outside of that this sounds very on par with the typical accept sound especially of the past 12 years since mark joined the band and took UDOS place, this is the 4th accept album w/mark on the mic and it has wolf hoffmans guitar riffs & leads as well as songwriting all over it so i do not regret i bought this nice japan edition, mark does a killer job on vocals as always & the band is very ACCEPT tight!!! with quite a bit of that classic accept sound going back to there glory days of the 1980s, just glad accept are still rocking in 2021 ( or trying to with this covid lockdown crap) so since there will be no live shows in 2021 for this new accept offering this year well...... we got a NEW ACCEPT RECORD!! cant ask for more, the only thing that bothers me about accept now is accept seem to be getting a lot like KROKUS where from the mid 1980s through the early 00s regarding to to many line up changes and only WOLF standing but hey THIS IS OLDSCHOOL METAL and im in that genre when it comes to metal, sorry not a fan of most metal that has come along the past 20/25 years regarding new bands. ACCEPT, SAXON, PRIEST, MAIDEN, KROKUS, etc etc is always where it has been at for me since the early 1980s now... ps as for MARK, i still remember all those TT QUICK gigs on long island & around the new york area back in the mid 80s you are still great!! sorry for the loss of your son. my condolences
