Description

[Machine Translation] Tandy Ntuli, an internationally acclaimed pianist on the contemporary jazz scene, has teamed up with Carlos Nino, who performs as Carlos Nino & Friends in California, to release "Rainbow Revisited" on Chicago's International Anthem! For this album, Tandy Ntuli visited Los Angeles in 2019 and recorded in a Venice Beach studio with Carlos Nino as producer. Most of the songs are piano and voice-only pieces inside, vividly demonstrating Ntuli's skill as a pianist and idiosyncrasies as a vocalist, as well as her fearlessness, vulnerability, and adventurous spirit in her occasional experiments with synthesizers and percussion. The minimalist soundscapes that Carlos colors are also not to be missed.
