A punchy mix 5

This double CD documents the very beginning of the band’s Tokyo residency on their Fall tour. The quartet performs with high focus, unleashing surgically precise, industrial riffs. Live takes of “Into the Frying Pan” and the title track “The ConstruKction of Light” are executed with fierce digital drive. The highlight of this release is the pristine stereo separation, perfectly parsing Belew and Fripp's interlocking guitars across the channels.
