This double CD captures the band performing at London’s iconic Rainbow Theatre. The show stands out as Crimson plays before a hometown crowd, showcasing an extreme level of improvisational freedom and confidence. Live iterations of “Easy Money” and “Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part Two” are executed with a crushing, almost primal heaviness. Sourced from an audience tape, the mix translates the massive room resonance.

Description
[Machine Translation] King Crimson will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its debut in 2019, and we will introduce classic and rare recordings from The King Crimson Collector's Club, which has a vast collection of recordings from the band's debut in 1969 to the present day. The triumphant return to London during the production of "The Underworld"! The performance itself is stable as it is a part of the autumn tour in the UK and Europe leading up to the Amsterdam show on November 23rd, which is well-known for "The Night Watch". The live recording of "Underworld" was also recorded during this tour. This is the first time it has been released on CD in Japan. The band also played at the same venue in December 1972 and March 1973, both of which were poor recordings. Finally, after the third time, a good audience recording has appeared. The fact that Crimson performed at this prestigious venue three times in less than a year shows how well received the band was during this period. The performance on this day, which was also a triumphant return to London, was one of the best performances of the Autumn '73 tour, which included many great performances. The total time of Robert Fripp's two MCs was the longest of the '73 tour, indicating that he was in high spirits. CD2 is especially intense! The way they run up to ("Sun and Fear Part 2") after two improvisations is worth listening to at least once if you like Crimson. And the encore was also very Crimson-like, as they dared to remove "Skizzoid Man of the 21st Century" and replace it with "Cat Food".
