This CD is an invaluable historical testament tracking the birth of '80s King Crimson. Performed at the cramped Moles Club before the release of the “Discipline” album, the quartet delivers their intricate new material with a raw, near-punk energy. Early working arrangements of “Thela Hun Ginjeet” and the title track sound considerably harsher and more experimental than their future studio counterparts. Sourced from a live cassette audience tape, the audio clarity is strictly archival and bootleg-like.

Description
[Machine Translation] Discipline's memorable first live show! The moment history is set in motion again! Robert Fripp, Adrian Breaux, Tony Levin, Bill Bruford Discipline was formed by some of the world's greatest musicians then and now. Its sound, with its bold use of polyrhythms, was challenging even for these outstanding musicians. This is a record of the band's first live performance, a rare opportunity to start experimenting and to see if it was worth it to continue as King Crimson. This is a hidden recording of a secret gig at a small club, recorded by an audience member. The band members were all very nervous to perform in front of an audience for the first time, and you can clearly hear it in their performance. This is a historical document left by Crimson, who inherited progressive rock in the '80s in a style that no one else had been able to achieve! Previously featured on the Collector's Club CD, the Japanese CD, and the "On (and Off) the Road" box set, this is the first time the album has been reissued as a one-off item in many years. Everything about Discipline Crimson began here.
