This double CD documents a pivotal milestone from the band's Fall 1981 US promotional tour. Performing the early set ("First House") at New York's iconic The Savoy, the reformed quartet displays a fierce, almost predatory level of musical concentration. The intricate material from the newly minted “Discipline” album feels remarkably dense and tightly locked. Highlights include a ferocious rendition of “Thela Hun Ginjeet” and the complex architecture of “Indiscipline,” pushed forward by Bill Bruford's aggressive, frantic polyrhythms.

Description
[Machine Translation] After coming to call themselves King Crimson and completing the album "Discipline", the midpoint of the tour that started in Europe and the biggest peak of the North American tour. Discipline Crimson made their first appearance on the New York live scene, which was one of the most cutting-edge in the world at the time. Whether the band would survive or end up with only one album depended on this New York show. The result was a huge success! The audience recording clearly records the band's big breakthrough, encouraged by the cheers of the enthusiastic New York fans. Although there are some cuts in the soundtrack, the powerful sound and the audience's enthusiasm clearly show the moment when the Discipline Crimson sound was perfected. This is the most emotional moment of the 1981 tour!
