This double CD serves as a reference-quality live document tracking the band's summer promotional tour for the “Beat” album. Sourced from a pristine soundboard master, the performance is highly notable for featuring rare live iterations of “Neurotica” and “Heartbeat”. The quartet performs with absolute fluid confidence, with Bill Bruford’s intricate polyrhythmic accents locking seamlessly into Tony Levin’s tight Chapman Stick lines.

Description
[Machine Translation] Due to plans to make a live album, several soundboard recordings of the 1982 "Beat" tour have survived, but this is a newly tracked down version for the club archive from the master tape, which was recorded on an 8-track multi-track system and then left in the DGM warehouse for a long time. The master tapes were recorded on 8-track multis and then left in DGM's warehouse for a long time. The new 2-channel stereo master is more powerful and has better sound quality than the stereo master from the multi-tracks of this period, because it is a new master using current technology. Unfortunately, some of the songs performed on the day of the concert were not recorded or cut, but instead, track 1 on CD1 contains over 27 minutes of the sound check of the day! This is the longest recording in this series, exceeding 2 hours on 2 CDs! Compared to the studio version recorded on "Beat," the funkiness of "Waiting Man" has a unique groove, making it a must-listen for fans of the band. The songs that will not be performed after this tour ("The Howler") and "Neil, Jack and Me" (a completed version), which are unique to the '82 tour, can be enjoyed in high sound quality!
