Actress

[Machine Translation] This is the first original album in four years by Asato Shigatsuki, the current vocalist and the first top male star of the Takarazuka Revue's Sorugumi group. This story album includes all songs from "Actress," a one-woman show written by Yasushi Akimoto and starring Asato in the lead role. It depicts the psychological portrayal of a great actress of the past who recalls her past glory and love life, projects her image onto her younger colleagues, renews her determination to live as an actress for the rest of her life, and goes out on stage at the very moment she is ready. The songs used in the play were all newly written by Akimoto, and the last song, "Dawn," a realistic depiction of Asato Asatsuki's life, has been sung at concerts and on TV, and fans have long awaited its release on CD. The CD will include bonus tracks from the gala concert of "Elisabeth," one of Asato Shigatsuki's best-known works.
