Description

Japanese edition available exclusively on high-quality Blu-spec CD format. A legendary hard rock band representing the United Kingdom and a true pioneer in the history of hard rock, Deep Purple presents the 18th original studio album "Rapture of the Deep," first released in 2005, now reissued as a 2-disc special edition to commemorate its 20th anniversary. This edition is supervised by Roger Glover, featuring a brand-new mix and renewed artwork for a special presentation. CD-2 includes studio sessions, rehearsal recordings, and even an unreleased instrumental track "Closing Note" recorded by Steve Morse (G) during the sessions. The album undergoes analog mastering at "Chameleon Studios" in Hamburg, achieving a clearer and more immersive sound compared to the original release.
