Description

[Machine Translation] In the 2000s, THE SWITCH TROUT from Yokkaichi made a name for themselves in Japan s garage scene with their one-of-a-kind garage-surf instrumental sound, (KOGA RECORDS) but also in the U.S. and Europe with their one-of-a-kind garage surf instrumental sound. Now, Yokkaichi s THE SWITCH TROUT is releasing a new album for the first time in 20 years. According to frontman Mickey Nakamura who has recently been enjoying a round of golf with fellow musicians the 12-track album was produced under the concept of being the world s first golf instrumental album. This instrumental collection, which could be described as a new form of world music, is a statement to the Reiwa-era indie scene following the COVID-19 pandemic.
