作詞家、依布サラサの2ndシングル。前作カリキュラムとは一転、疾走感溢れるドラムとシンセのイントロからノイジーなギターが重なるハードなトラックに、爽やかなドロッピーヴォイスが織り成す楽曲。また、詞はラブソングでありながら、「瞳孔」や「虹彩」など印象的な言葉選びが秀逸、まさに作詞家依布サラサならではの世界観にしあがった。テレビ東京系「JAPAN COUNTDOWN」3月度オープニングテーマ曲、エースコック「スープはるさめ」CM曲('08年2月～)に決定。 カップリングにはTahiti80のボーカル、グザヴィエ作曲・プロデュースの「プリーズワイン」。グザヴィエ本人がバックコーラスで参加するなどtahiti節炸裂のポップソング。3曲目には惜しまれつつも解散したメロコアバンド、ハスキングビーのイッソンこと磯部正文によるエモーショナルナンバー「北欧」。いずれもバラエティに富んだ3曲であるが、どの曲もサラサのボーカルが真中にあるブレのない一枚に仕上がった。
