前作『地獄より愛をこめて』のメインコンポーザージェイル大橋が脱退。13番目の構成員としてSgt. ルーク篁III世参謀を迎え入れる。ルーク参謀は、アマチュア時代にデーモン小暮閣下とともに聖飢魔IIの別働隊バンド、紫馬肥(むらさきうまごやし)のメンバーとして活動しており、先に発布された小教典「EL・DO・RA・DO」(前大教典『地獄より愛をこめて』にも収録)において、「紫馬肥」の名義で作曲者としてクレジットされていた。今作品ではある特定の構成員が殆どの楽曲の作曲を担当するのではなく、各構成員が作曲を手がける手法をとり制作された。聖飢魔II通算4枚目のアルバム。
