Gardenia is not a favorite song but as I love Malice Mizer I want all of their singles, and the members look fantastic in these outfits. The cover is different from the picture though, since the cover with all the members are first press, second press is with the doll on the cover.

The short "prologue" leads into the title track ("Gardenia"), which is a somewhat soft, layered track full of elegance and affection. Klaha's voice really soars and complements the music. B-side "Houkai Joukyoku" is almost its polar opposite. It is a dark electro-industrial track with pipe organs and pseudo-engrish chanting. The addition of the instrumentals is quite pleasant. All in all, a solid release, one that is fun to listen to many, many times.

It's wonderful~ (*o*)! I love the booklet, it has the members in the Gardenia outfits. It doesn't have the lyrics for the Gardenia song,though. (._.)

This single... Everything about it is stunning. Not only the quality is extremely good, but also, Klaha's voice goes perfectly with that kind of music, it's his first single with Malice Mizer, and in my opinion, it is a must. I'm very happy, because the package was handled with care, and I -really- mean care, it's in perfect condition, and I recommend it for Malice Mizer fans. Only great stuff!

I got this for a friend, she was very pleased with it. Good quality, good songs, good pics :3 It's always fun to get the instrumentals too.

Awesome, I love gardenia, the voice of Klaha is well developed, one of the best single of Malice Mizer

With 5 Tracks, Gardenia is one of the longer singles of Malice Mizer. With a beautiful opening, Gardenia is a mellow Gothic melody, written by Mana. The B-Side is more of an Industrial track: Houkai Jokyoku. Both instrumentals are included and the booklet is to die for <3

A half lovely and half distracting single release by Malice Mizer, consisting of 5 tracks in total. A short piano prologue "~Kaisou~" leads us to the title track, "Gardenia", a lovely song with light, almost pop-like tone and quite a magical atmosphere, similar to what Malice Mizer's music mostly was during so-called Gackt era. It is followed by what's distracting in this release to me, an electronic-industrial B-side called "Houkai Jokyoku", which is pretty much complete opposite to the title track. The rest two tracks are the instrumental versions of "Gardenia" and "Houkai Jokyoku". The release is provides very nice amount of eye candy as well. Besides the appealing covers, the insides of the booklet are beautiful too: all the members are featured in their Gardenia outfits, each one of them getting a one double page. Besides the B-side, this single release is beautiful and essential add to any Malice Mizer fan's collection. Highly recommended.

This was one of my first song from Malice Mizer. This single included 5 tracks. The first is an introducting version of Gardenia's song. the B-side "Houkai Youkyoku" is very good; but my Malice Mizer's favorite b-side is "Baptism of blood"(included on Beast of blood single). This CD single was the first with klaha like official vocal!!!!

I wanted this single ever since I knew about this song, and I was able to finally get it. I love Klaha's voice it's amazing. And who can forget the cuteness of Mana *(just adorable)

Gardenia is the weirdest single among Malice Mizer's last releases. While the main style of the band was a metal-oriented gothic/symphonic sound, Gardenia featured a sweet and romantic ballad (the title track) and a weird electronic-industrial track (Houkai Jokyoku). The mood and sound of this single probably look back to the old days of Malice Mizer but sound refreshing and different at the same time.

A great single! Klaha's voice is a real compliment to this style of music, the song is extreamly beautiful, and puts you into another world of fantasy. Simply amazing! The bass line is mind blowing.

This single is a sort of turning point in Malice Mizer history. After a work of almost an year, Mana & new vocalist, Klaha, create "Gardenia", the song that shows the new sound and the new musical credo of the band. The sound is almost pop, but the lyrical voice of Klaha create a romantic ballad about a misterious girl, called Gardenia. The other song in the single has a complitely different sound, quite similar to Moi dix Mois most recent works, as "Beyond the Gate".
