Description

[Machine Translation] On July 1, 1999, Nina Simone gave a rare and final performance in England. After the emotional performance, Warren Ellis, who was in the audience, went to the stage, took a piece of gum chewed by Nina Simone from the piano, wrapped it in her stage towel, and took it home. Twenty years later. The gum's fate is set in motion. The gum sets off a chain of events that no one could have predicted. Something seemingly insignificant and quickly discarded creates a beautiful connection between people. This is a story about giving meaning and spirituality to objects and experiences, a celebration of the creative process, the power of the work that emerges from it, and love and friendship. A photo memoir by a rare musician.
