Hagure Mono Tachi No Mao Jo Kaitaku Ki 1 (Bushiroad Novel) [Light Novel]

[Machine Translation] This is the story of what happened after" the battle between the Hero and the Demon King. Two years have passed since the Demon King was slain, yet the world still has not been able to enjoy the blessings of peace. What remains in every corner of the land are the unhealed scars of war and a vast number of war refugees with nowhere to go. Laurentia, the Cursed Princess," was shunned because she possessed strange powers. She was given the grueling task of leading refugees to settle the former Demon King s castle, a place overrun by monsters. Though nominally a colonization effort, in reality, it was nothing more than a policy of abandonment" designed to get rid of trouble. However, those who gathered at the Demon King s Castle were a motley crew of outcasts," each with their own quirks. A monster-eating explorer, a mercenary who had lost his home on the battlefield, a knight who narrowly escaped death, a skilled thief, a hunter, a merchant, a farmer they pooled their skills and ideas to transform what was once a symbol of terror into a home for everyone."
