Description

[Machine Translation] A man was found dead in the pool of a mansion on Sunset Boulevard. The murdered man was Joe Gillis, a screenwriter. The incident began six months ago. One day, Joe, who had lost his job and was having trouble selling his screenplay, was chased by a collection agency and fled to a mansion on Sunset Boulevard. There lived Norma Desmond, a great actress from the silent film era, and her butler, Max. By chance, Joe ends up reworking a screenplay written by Norma... Throughout the film, pronunciation is clear and speaking speed is average and easy to understand. The use of relatively short sentences makes the film enjoyable, and the dialogue, while brief, conveys the thoughts of the speaker.
