This is the first Chikuhodo brush I actually dislike. Thank goodness it's not very expensive. This brush is incredibly stiff and scratchy. I agree with the previous reviewer that this is more suitable for eyebrow hairs, but it's still stiffer and harder than it needs to be. You have to use a very light hand in order not to scratch your skin. I would recommend getting two of the G-14s instead or maybe trying the GSN-15. I don't have the GSN-15, but I would guess the goat hair makes the brush a bit softer. The G-14 works fine for brows though and is firm without being scratchy. I'm writing this review so other people are warned. I would never imagine Chikuhodo would make a brush like this.

This is the fourth Chikuhodo natural spoolie I got and now I have all of them. There is an identical spoolie to the GSN-14 in the E series. The G and GSN series have 2 spoolies each and I have noticed that both 15s are more suitable for brows and the 14s for lashes. The G-15 is the kind of spoolie you would use to remove clumps or excess amout of mascara from your lashes. While I was glad to add the the G-15 to my collection, I do have to say that I find the GSN-15 is an overall improvement. The added white goat hair, while making the spoolie prettier it does add some density to the strength of horse hair. But then the G-15 will look less dirty in the end, and therefore is better.
