Most of the songwriting was done in Atlanta, Georgia, but many of the lyrics were written during the tour. The band has been busy with tour after tour, so they concentrated on the production of this album as well as the previous one. The result is "RISE OF THE DAMNATION ARMY", a collection of songs that are as aggressive and moving as ever, just as they were in their younger days when they were known as the street rabble.
