Fu-Pa 14 is a very cute, compact Kabuki brush. Made from a blend of squirrel and goat, the short bristles on this dense, yet soft, round brush makes it a wonderful buffing brush & applies powder foundation smoothly and beautifully. Sadly, Koyudo’s prices have increased a little too drastically for comfort.

This little Brush has a very dense head and has a shape that is new to me. It picks up product very well. I use this to apply Blush. I dip against the Pressed Powder once very lightly and then pounce along the cheeks. It spreads the product surprisingly well and even over a large surface area and it is easy to shape the area, for example a c shape. I have a small face and like the targeted application with diffused edges. Great for sensitive skin.

This cute little brush is so soft, but still has the strength to blend well. The black handle is actually a dark green colour with sparkles all over. So pretty!

At first, when receiving it, I was a little bit disappointed and thought it's over priced. Not until I used it to apply powder blush with the first strike, did I realize what a gem I've got! I should have gotten it earlier! Due to its functionality, the finish of blush is so beautiful and natural. Its bristle tips just fits in the size of my cheekbone, one stamp is well done! And the buffing is great! So glad I picked up this one!

Squirrels are mixed with elastic goat wool, adding more practicality to this brush. You can bring brush powder, powder and even blush, have the feeling into the skin. Delicate brush handle is also suitable for carrying, is the first choice for travel or daily carry. Only one point, just started to use a small amount of one or two hair Although not affect the use, but a bit reluctant, But this is definitely worth recommending brush.

I love the brushes but for me it is nonsense to pay 1/3 of my order for taxes + free delivery! I live in Canada. Lot of hidden fees!!!

This is the softest powder brush I own and it's worth every penny I paid for it. . I use it to apply my setting powder, which this brush does with ease and the best part is that it never pokes my sensitive skin.

I have ordered some Koyudo brushes in last Dec 15, this is the first time I order online and also, the first time I try Japanese brush. This brush is amazing about the softness. I never tried any 100% grey squirrel brush before but I am absolutely sure this brush is out of expectation and I do not think that I need any brush more softness than this Fupa 14. But I gave it 4 star because of shredding, I don't know how's about the others but my fupa 14 does shred few hairs and also, when I wash it at the first time. It makes me a little bit worry about the future of this brush. I hope that it just only some bad hairs and it will stop shredding soon because I love it so so so much. If I would recommend a brush for loose powder like finishing powder or mineral, this will be the first in the list! Absolutely yes!

This brush is very dense and soft and its great for mineral foundation and powder foundation. It is small and handy and so great for travelling.

I love the hair of this brush, its soft and gentle but has enough firmness to apply a lot of powder if need be. This is great to stipple/pat on powders then blend out, and the brush head covers a lot of areas in a short amount of time. The short thick handle feels very natural in my hand and allows me to go up close to the mirror without poking it. Would recommend this for anyone interested in a good high quality natural hair brush.

This is a very dense kabuki-type style brush. Like other reviewers have mentioned, you can't even tell there is goat hair in here - it feels insanely soft. This brush is great for lightly pigmented blushers when you just want a quick wash of color. I've used this with heavily pigmented blushers too - it just takes more care and time. The handle is short but comfortable to hold. It washes well but it does take 2 days to dry completely due to its density. I'm sure this brush would be fabulous for powder foundation or loose powders as well. Highly recommend!

This brush is soft like a dream! I use this brush for finishing powder to get the seamless make up. The design is also wonderfull!

This is probably my favorite brush from everything i have. I reach for it everyday. It applies anything from bronzer to powder foundation perfectly. This brush is as soft as pure squirrel. You can't really feel the goat hair in it but it does make this brush firmer and fluffier then pure squirrel - a perfect mix. It did shed a bit but nothing major. Washes and dries well even though it is quite dense. And of course i have to mention it looks super cool. The price is really reasonable for such a gem.

Soft, dense, and paired with a gorgeous handle. Like the previous reviewers have mentioned, this brush is very versatile. It can be used to apply blush, bronzer, compact/loose finishing powders, powder foundation, or simply to pet one's face. :) It's the best brush purchase I've made in a while.

This brush goes with me when I travel. I use it to set my foundation with powder, for bronzer and even for blush. It feels like it has way more squirrel than goat in the mix. It has shed very little, feels solid in my hand and has a lovely handle with very subtle sparkles. I love it so much that I got it in white as well. The price for value is amazing.

For many years, I've been looking for the perfect brush for my Guerlain meteorites, and I couldn't be any happier to have come across the Fu-Pa14 to use with them! It's incredibly soft, picks up and deposits just the right amount of product, and it doesn't shed one bit. One of my favorite brushes from the Fu-Pa line!

The fu-pa 14 gray squirrel powder brush is amazing. It's best use is for mineral powder foundation. The brush itself has a black handle with an iridescent green shimmer throughout topped with a dense, soft bundle of squirrel hair. I cannot explain how soft this is. Because of its density it holds a lot of product. I like this best with a powder foundation because I like the coverage I can get with it. I also like using it with translucent pressed powders. Buy it, you won't regret it.
