This brush may look like just another crease blender, and its design is simple, but it's such an incredible workhorse that it can apply and blend eyeshadow in no time. The bristles are very soft, the brush head isn't too loose or too densely packed, and it feels good for the job it was created for. I love the short handle, but those used to brushes with long handles might find this one a little difficult to balance in their hands. As is typical for Koyomo, it comes in a nice box.
Koyomo nadeshiko Pearl Pink Shadow Brush / Goat Haku-ototsuho Yomo Customer Reviews
Makeup Brush
I had high hopes, but it was just okay. I bought this brush because it’s made with some high-quality goat hair, but it didn’t impress me. It wasn’t that soft, and the performance wasn’t anything special either. Honestly, it wasn’t even that soft.
This brush applies matte, pearl-free shadows very smoothly onto the eyes. Of the many eyebrushes I own, I really like this one and will be buying a few more.
Very nice brush for blending. Pick up enough proct and distribute evenly on the eyes. Natural made bristle
This is the shortest eyeshadow brush I have ever had. It is slightly shorter than Chikuhodo G-3. I was looking for short and compact eyeshadow brushes to replace my old synthetic ones. This petite little brush is very light, short, compact and cute. A joy to bring it with me when I travel. The pearlescent pink handle is pretty. The "koyomo" hair is soft as advertised. I am very satisfied with my first Koyomo brush and came back to purchase the flat version.
love everything about this brush for doing my eyes. I am more petite so this just fits the bill for me in so many ways
Still its pink handle is funny. However, the hair quality is the best and the straight shape is special. I don't think I've seen it anywhere.
Wonderful, my favourite blender brush but is fantastic both with application and blending. It is soft and gentle, yet still blends shadows effortlessly. Compact short handle makes it the perfect brush to travel with.
The brush feels sooo soft. It never tugs nor irritates my eyes for which i'm grateful. You can't go wrong with Pink Pearl shadow brush line.
Good and useful, as the title says. Soft, multi-functional, and very pretty to look at too. When you apply with this or the flat, or both, the eye makeup comes out looking very beautiful (correct amount of product is applied, the way it fits into curves of eye and moves around blends and diffuses without over-diffusing, etc ) very quickly and easily (feels like no effort was put in, but makeup looks good). My only worry with this line is that they might lose hairs or get worn out quickly - they are so perfect, there must be a catch! Hopefully not, I just can't believe brushes like this exist, they work like magic. All these Japanese brushes have soooo much thought and attention put into them, they are way better than anything else.
So I have used this brush a couple of times now and I already want a backup. It is soft, yet firm and flexible all at the same time. It blends out effortlessly in the crease. So much so, that I don’t even find myself needing to grab for the plethora of other brushes I have in my collection (Hakuhodo, Chikuhodo, houkodou, Sonia G etc.) don’t get me wrong I love all of my wonderful brushes but this little cutie holds its ground. Um I’m kind of obsessed and very much impressed by this brush. I also have the flat shader and the face brush. I’m so happy I came across these exquisite works of art. Highly recommend!
Koyomo, if you read this, please make more shapes of brushes, your hair quality is amazing, the handles are gorgeous. I really wish they made different brush heads not just for eye brushes but face too. Definitly recommend.
This is a great Muti tasker brush. I can easily use it for all my eye look needs. It's one of the softest brush and blends easily. Highly recommended. I am looking into purchase more Koyomo brushes in next order. Beautiful brush all around.
This small but mighty brush really took me by surprise. Even though it is exceptionally soft due to the old Koyomo hair, since it is hair from the shoulder of the goat it has a firmness that makes this one of the best crease and outer V brushes I’ve ever used. It’s not like the soft blown out look the Z-11 gives, it’s more for placing and blending all at once even deep, hard to blend colors. Actually, you could do your entire eyes with just this brush! Great for lining/smudging under lower lashes, too. This brush may look “cute” but this beauty can accomplish some serious work!
Although it is goat, it is very soft, it is not a face at all, it is not very good to be used with... The oily skin is not sensitive muscle is ok, did not dye color, also not afraid to fade when washing... The goat of the ancient wool is very good in the brush of the same price, the main price is not expensive, very suitable to buy self-use
Excellent brush! picks up color so well, blends in no time. Super pleasant to use. One of my favourites!
I could find the goat hair used is very soft even in such a small size. It has given a very soft touch to the delicate skin around the eyes. You can use it in pairing with the same series flat shape shadow brush for different applications!
I love this brush so much that I bought 2! With this brush, I can let the brush do the work to apply and blend eye shadows in my crease. It is a short-handle brush - what would considered a travel size brush in the US so it is travel friendly as well.
Works great as a crease brush for me. It isn't the most densely packed brush but it isn't floppy either. Very short handle so keep that in mind.
Ok, I really wanted to love this brush, and when it came in the mail, I absolutely loved its shape. I wanted to use it as a crease brush; the shape is perfect for that. However, I was kinda dissapointed because, for me, it was way too soft to be functional, so I hardly ever find myself using it. It *is* a beautiful brush, and some people may certainly like it, but I was looking for something a little different.
