B-FD-01 Foundation Brush / BISYODO Series / Goat Saikoho Customer Reviews
Makeup Brush
This brush is a dream to apply the foundation. It feels like a sponge on the face. Veey soft and extremely beautiful brush.
Very soft and puffy, and has just the right density for tapping on foundation. I like to use it in place of sponges. Probably not the best type if you use primer to fill in pores. For a natural fiber brush that isn’t weasel or kolinsky, this brush is excellent at letting go of liquids and cremes. For me, it was the easiest foundation brush to wash, including my synthetics.
How can goat hair be this soft? It's as soft as high-quality squirrel hair. I bought it as a shading brush, but it seems perfect for liquids like a foundation brush. I was going to use it with Fenty Beauty's contour, but the brush is so beautiful that I feel it’s a waste to use it with the black contour product
If you tap your brush straightforward to your face, it may bit pocky. But it's so good when you apply liquid with this brush. The bristles of this brush is chubby, so that you could apply foundation easily and so quickly with a very thin layer. If you have foundation that dries quickly (like 'double wear'), this brush is for you.
Receiving handles that are crudely covered in bright colours. Never seen one like this in the same collection I own. Makes awkwardly spotty bits look very bare
Love this brush for applying cream or liquid foundation. The fibers are soft and densely packed. The handle is gorgeous. Don't hesitate- It's a must have for your makeup routine
This brush, like other Bishodo goat hair brushes, is incredibly soft, almost hard to believe it is made of goat hair.
I love this brush very much. From the thick Saikoho bristles to the rose wood handle to the gold gilt ferrule, it absolutely feels luxurious.
Perfect brush for foundation. After wash it is super soft and liquid foundation easily wash off I like it
If you apply the foundation with your brushes, the endothelium will turn really beautiful. I recommend this.
This is my first time to purchase brush from Bisyodo brand, I’ve own and collected Chikuhodo Z series and T series, and some Hakuhodo gray squirrel hair mixed with goat hair series, I have say, in terms of goat hair - saikoho , this Bisyodo brush is so soft and no goat smell and the handle is soooo beautiful, very well made. This is a great foundation brush, love it. With this purchase, I’m so glad I also purchased this brand blush brush, it’s dyed saikoho brush, I also in love with that one. Highly recommend.
My first Bisyodo brush and I am very happy with this purchase. The craftsmanship is top tier and the functionality of the brush is excellent. I love that the brush has a nice weight with a thicker handle which provides better ergonomics for me personally. Even with the density, I was so surprised by the softness of this brush. It blends like a dream - no streaking and makes blending quick and easy. Application wise, I use this brush for liquid foundation and cream contour (usually applying the product directly to the face first, then using the brush to blend). This is now my new favorite foundation brush! One thing I also appreciate is how easy it was to remove any leftover product when using a microfiber towel. Looks like I'll be purchasing another one soon!
I bought this brush and another foundation brush, but I know why the price tag of this brush higher, it's dense but super soft and worth every penny. I also love the long handle.
Very soft and dense. Applies relatively quickly, a lighter coverage (can build up but I prefer light-medium)--because the bristles at the edges are spread widely, they buff out any excess. I wish versions of this brush were available without the fancy handle, so as to make it cheaper. It is large. Some people have more crevices to their faces (hills and valleys), or smaller faces (thinking of my mom for both things), for them this would be too clunky. They would do better with wedge sponge or smaller, more circular/dome-shaped brushes perhaps. If you have a larger, flatter face, the size and shape of this would work out to your benefit. I'm somewhere in between, so this does work for me but it doesn't get dense application (more coverage) for edges and certain spots specifically. If you like detailed application, rather than sweeping, the Koyudo Fu-Pa11-b, the circular one "concealer & highlighting brush", is really good! I use that with cream foundation all the time and the result is fantastic. It is also way cheaper.
Wow.... my first bisyodo brushes or second if you include the colabration between cd japan n bisyodo for saibikoho set. Bisyodo never fail me in quality and luxury feeling. Wish can give 10 stars. I fans of good quality wood handle and bristle and bisyodo have them both. Your brush give the feel n sense of elegant, expensive, luxurious at affordable price for its range. Not to offend other brand which they have excellent quality as well but is the feel, only bisyodo has all this feel.
I am in love with this brush. I bought one to try it in case I didn’t like it. I regret that decision. I should’ve bought 2. My foundation blended out smoothly with no streaking. The brush did the work for me, seriously. I felt like I was painting a masterpiece, on my face.
I have never used a brush to put on my powdered foundation (MAC Studio Fix). This brush makes my foundation so flawless - better than the sponges I have been using for 20+ years!!! I love it. It is expensive but worth every penny because it is so well made.
Bought this brush because it's similar to the Koyudo Fupa 02, which is one of my fav foundation brush. Been using for about 2 months, and this is now my new holy grail foundation brush. It's so much softer than the Fupa 02. It works with all kinds of foundation, from matte to luminous. Gives an airbrushed finish every time, never streaky, never patchy. Also, this brush is aesthetically pleasing, shiny gold ferrule with a luxurious wooden handle. I would say the only con to this brush is its weight. But then again, its weight is what gives this brush the solid, classy and expensive feel. Love this brush. No regrets.
First trying out this brand and am very surprised by its high quality. Very soft hair. The brush handle is quite sturdy and you can definitely feel the weight.I use it for foundation and cream contouring; and the results are very natural.
