This soundtrack is a gift to fellow gamers. With this soundtrack I can relive any moment in Chrono Trigger and dance to my hearts content. If you admire Chrono Trigger's soundtrack do yourself a favor abd buy the original soundtrack!

Anyone who's played the game knows just how awesome the music is. And to think, this was Yasunori Mitsuda's first full-length work for Square back over 10 years ago, when he was just 23! The music has a certain magical quality that lends itself to repeated listenings. There's a reason the game is so cherished by many, and the music has a huge role in that. Worth every penny!

This game soundtrack is possibly the best to ever come from the Super Nintendo era of roleplaying games. Yasunori Mitsuda is quite easily on the same level of quality as other great composers such as Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) and Michiru Yamane (Castlevania). Aside from the nostalgia, it's simply a good sound track, with different styles representing the different eras in which the game takes place, very similar to the sequel Chrono Cross's varying styles to match the different cultures present throughout the game. Pick both of them up if you haven't already.

This is a game that i played about 11 years ago and some of the tracks stuck in my mind though it had been some time since i played it.I think that this soundtrack does it's job quite fine in some ways but i think that it also completely is less than average on it's downsides,which album doesn't have downsides you ask?,i think that this is not a stabile soundtrack,i think it's like a rollercoaster all the way trough that mix masterpieces with realy bad songs.But come on, it's a 3cd set so the average on this soundtrack is 4/5 because the memorable songs stays in your head for a long time,i would say you got to have it!!

The sound on this soundtrack, it's extremely calming, soothing and touchingly beautiful. Now, for that fact the town BGM can be called a masterpiece. The carnivals and joy of citizens make it a piece of little man's precious smile. However, it has it's downsides. The battle & boss BGM can't be named to be as successful. They aren't exciting but calm at heart, they aren't gloomy at all. Where is the end of the world, I ask? Also, the sound effects are interestingly used as the intros and outros, which makes this more of a steady collection.
